A year of the Lord’s favor

West Virginia turns 155 years old today. WVCC Executive Director, the Rev. Jeff Allen reflected on Isaiah 61 this morning at the Interfaith Service at the state cultural center in Charleston:

“The year of the LORD’s favor is an invitation to dream, to trust, to love, and to care, to know that all things are in God’s hands.”

Dr. Bob Harrison wrote this prayer for West Virginia that was read this morning as well.
